Where our information comes from
The route descriptions are based on open sources: guidebooks to Kyrgyzstan, trail descriptions on local tourism websites, and travellers' accounts. We try to check our facts, but mountains change: trails get washed out, bridges get repaired, prices go up. Before setting off, double-check important details on the spot.
